Identity, Authentication, and Reputation Subgroup
Many proposed anti-spam measures attempt to tie e-mail messages to a specific sender or sending domain. The IAR subgroup looks at issues of the Identity of senders, of systems to Authenticate senders or domains, and Reputations systems that provide information to assist recipients in evaluating messages and senders.

Its goal is first to get an understanding of other IAR work that's going on, and then to try and see what aspects IAR systems share that would make sense to standardize.
